The ideal candidate will handle a litigation caseload from inception through trial or resolution, provide exceptional client service, and participate in business development efforts.Duties:
Handle litigation caseload from inception through trial or resolution.Conduct extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations.Negotiate on behalf of clients.Draft and interpret contracts and legal documents.Attend court hearings and trials.Prepare pleadings and letters.Handle discovery requests and take depositions.Draft motions, responses, and other state and federal court case filings.Appear in court and interact with clients.Investigate facts related to cases.Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of plaintiff litigation experience.Specific exposure to personal injury and property damage litigation preferred.Significant experience with written and electronic discovery.Experience with trial preparation and participation.Commitment to exceptional client service.Willingness to participate in business development efforts.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Florida by the Florida Bar Association.Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
