Hear more about MGT’s culture in the words of our employees .WHAT YOU’LL DO:AMS.NET, an MGT Company is looking for a Senior Account Manager – Outside Sales in Southern California is responsible for prospecting for new customers, managing existing customer base, presenting business solutions to meet the business needs of both potential and existing customers, closing the sale and meeting or exceeding their assigned sales quotas.In this role you will:Prospecting and Networking:Identify prospects who could benefit from AMS.NET's products/services.Develop networks to find potential new customers.Solution Development:Lead solution development efforts to address customer needs.Coordinate with AMS.NET personnel/resources as needed.Relationship Management:Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, partners, and employees.Coordinate AMS.NET personnel to meet/exceed customer expectations.Work with other AMS.NET departments for smooth project hand-off and implementation.Ensure customer satisfaction and quick problem resolution.Sales Targets and Documentation:Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.Proactively assess and validate customer needs.Sales Process and Reporting:Complete required sales documentation and reports promptly.Maintain up-to-date customer information in Salesforce.Project Tracking and Forecasting:Track project progress and associated revenue during pre-sale phases.Conduct accurate and timely forecasting within Salesforce.Training and Adherence:Attend required training and development programs.Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.Support and Skills:Support AMS.NET marketing efforts and initiatives.Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.Adapt to AMS.NET processes and sales tools effectively.Conduct business conversations with various stakeholders.Present technical solutions and influence opinions.Receive and manage constructive feedback.Establish and maintain strong business relationships.Demonstrate a positive approach and strong work ethic.Display leadership within the industry.Prioritize activities and manage time effectively.Understand pricing and proposal models.Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications.Frequent travel to customer locations, tradeshows and conferences.WHAT YOU’LL BRING:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment (high tech, data, or telecom preferred).Public Sector (SLED) selling experience is preferred.Consistent achievement of sales quotasExperience selling Cisco or other major networking/cyber-security products a plus.Good driving record with valid automobile and car insurance.WHAT WE OFFER:Our world-class work environment encompasses flexible and remote work options, a commitment to equity, and nationally respected teams in management consulting and technology services.
