Title: Site Materials Manager

Every 3 months 1 week off.
Summary: The Site Materials Manager oversees all material-related activities for construction projects, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and contractor management.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement efficient materials management strategies.Work with approved vendors to quickly acquire materials when needed.Ensure materials meet construction timelines through effective communication with clients and project teams.Conduct material take-offs and assess project requirements in coordination with engineering and construction teams.Manage lead times and availability, integrating them into project schedules.Supervise logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.Monitor changes in material needs and address requisitions promptly.Prepare and execute materials management plans as required.Oversee the receiving and issuing of materials and equipment.Optimize warehouse layouts to enhance construction operations.Perform audits and maintain precise inventory records.Resolve material-related issues through effective collaboration with stakeholders.Complete project closeouts related to materials and purchases.Follow internal policies and procedures consistently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.4-5 years of experience in materials management, ideally in construction and electric power sectors.Experience with inventory management systems, especially Clear Spider.
Skills:
Strong organizational and communication abilities.Problem-solving skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Flexibility to work irregular hours to meet project deadlines.
