We are currently accepting applications for a Training and Development Specialist based in our San Jose Corporate Office.
As our Training and Development Specialist, your major responsibilities will include:
Developing and delivering engaging and interactive live, virtual and on-demand training sessions for employees across the organization. Collaborating with subject matter experts for design and/or delivery of training curriculum.Assisting with other staff training and development programs and curriculum as needed.Facilitating interactive workshops and training sessions, delivering an exceptional learning experience for participants.Assisting the Training and Development Manager with developing and maintaining instructional best practices for in-person, virtual and on-demand formats.Developing and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees.Assisting department manager with evaluating and identifying training needs throughout the organization on an on-going basis; assisting with developing training solutions to meet those needs.Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on organization-wide training programs in addition to specialized training programs that address the learning and development needs of a department, position and/or functional area.Administering and maintaining the department’s digital tools including but not limited to the Learning Management System, course authoring tools, in addition to other digital learning platforms.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience performing teller transactions and account maintenance, opening new accounts and processing consumer loan applications required. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal). Prior experience delivering training to small groups or in a one-on-one environment required. Must possess demonstrated knowledge of various systems used in retail banking, along with general knowledge of deposit and loan products, banking services, policies, procedures, and regulations in addition to processing and funding consumer loan applications. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word required; knowledge of other multimedia systems and tools a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification from the Association of Talent Development a plus.
Pay Range: $27.26 – $34.00; based on skills and experience.
