Construction Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Plants

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee onsite construction engineering activities for industrial projects, primarily focusing on Water/Wastewater Treatment plants, but also including factories, production facilities, and data centers across various industries.

Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.Manage Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen and oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team.
Manage project engineering and personnel functions, including planning, administration, and work assignments.Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements, supporting the overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).Provide technical support, including construction planning, design interpretation, and conflict resolution.Develop and administer project engineering procedures and work controlling documents (submittals, RFIs, material deliveries, payment requests).Represent the company in A/E, client, and project management meetings.Interface with on-site departments to resolve issues and ensure construction quality.Oversee pre-construction services, design-build services, and business development.Work with the Superintendent to control job costs and production budgets.Prepare and submit monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections.Execute and approve subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices.Assist in the settlement of change orders and claims.Respond quickly to issues, proactively solve problems, and handle multiple tasks.Maintain subcontractor insurance certificate compliance.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical training and experience.10+ years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management.5+ years of construction engineering experience in heavy industrial projects.Professional Engineer (PE) registration is preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
