SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test firmware for motorized shade systems. This role involves working on new products, product enhancements, and test fixtures for a leading company in the home automation industry. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, efficient embedded software solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded software for motorized systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.Conduct and participate in technical reviews and peer code reviews.Create and execute test plans and unit tests, utilizing automated test setups.Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.Document software design aspects, including architecture, state diagrams, and design decisions.Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, working with cross-functional teams for smooth deployments.QualificationsProficiency in
C/C++
programming for embedded systems.Strong knowledge of
ARM architecture , wireless IoT protocols (BLE, Zigbee, etc.), and real-time operating systems (e.g., Zephyr, FreeRTOS).Familiarity with embedded Linux, scripting (Python, Perl, Bash), and version control (Git or Mercurial).Experience with
communication protocols
(UART, I2C, SPI) and
embedded hardware interfaces .Understanding of
cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure) and
AI tools
for developers.Skill in using electronic test equipment and assembling prototypes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience
