Summary:The HR Recruiter is focused on attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent employees who embrace the Covenant HealthCare Mission and Values. The HR Recruiter will collaborate with human resources leadership, the recruitment team, and Covenant leadership. In addition, the HR Recruiter integrates a thorough knowledge of the recruitment cycle (posting, reviewing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding) and human resource practices to meet current and future staffing needs. Specific responsibilities include the development/implementation of recruitment plans, position advertising and marketing, screening, and interviewing applicants; relationship building and adherence to federal and state employment laws. The HR Recruiter demonstrates a professional, enthusiastic, open-minded attitude towards all candidates throughout the recruitment cycle. The HR Recruiter demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that their attitude and actions are always consistent with the standards in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.
Responsibilities:
Plans and participates in recruitment activities throughout the recruitment cycleInterviews applicants and coordinates visits of prospective applicants.Develop recruiting strategies, advertisement campaigns, and programs.Must be able to offer innovative ideas and sources regarding recruiting.May be asked to participate at conventions, career days, and job fairs.Supports onboarding processes.Ability to discuss compensation and benefits with prospective new hires.Maintains records of contact and follow-up.Assists the applicant in the transition to this organization.Establish and maintain relationships with local colleges and universities.Tracks vacancies, recruitment efforts, quality improvement monitoring, and other statistics.Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market.Conduct exit interviews as needed.Demonstrates professionalism and superior customer service.
Other information:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required.
A minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience is required.
Previous recruiting experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite.
Previous Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Skills in marketing and sales.
Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues and material.
Project a positive, professional, and energetic image.

Ability to maintain punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
