What you'll do:

The Brass Tacks

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinksGreeting, thanking and delivering excellent guest serviceDescribe menu options and be knowledgeable about beverage products to make appropriate recommendations to guestsMoney handling, making change and handling credit card transactionsMaintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipmentFollow all opening and closing proceduresRestocks supplies and food items promptly and responds to guest inquiries and requestsAnswers and directs telephone calls to appropriate personnelCreates various signage for functions and parking stickers as necessaryMaintains Coat CheckThe Nitty Gritty

Previous barista experience in a similar environment strongly preferredPrevious experience in food service and/or customer service preferredStrong customer service skillsThe ability to clearly and effectively communicateBasic math skills required for accurate money handlingNecessary State Food Handler's License(s)The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to read, analyze, and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos
