The Lead Dock at LSG Sky Chefs is responsible for overseeing and managing all dock operations within the facility.
This role involves coordinating the efficient and safe loading and unloading of catering equipment, food, and supplies onto and off airplanes. The Lead Dock is accountable for supervising dock personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and airline guidelines, and addressing any issues that arise during dock operations. This position is critical for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of catering services to airlines.Main Accountabilities
Assists Supervise daily area / department activities in the CSCConduct daily work group meetingsAssist with the scheduling and control of employees to meet labour productivity and overtime targetsEnsure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA),
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
, etc.)Document and follow up on all department processesEnsure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directedGuide and motivate employeesParticipates in coaching and performance discussions with Supervisor

A successful record of performance which demonstrates leadership and initiative, and the ability to be a change agentStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to problem-solve and act as a coach/consultant for employee issues.Ability to lead through teamwork and team buildingComputer literate
