Business Analyst

Title : IT Business Analyst Location : 100% REMOTE Duration : 18 months Compensation : $45/hr - 55/hr Work Requirements : US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE Requirements Gathering: o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed business requirements. o Document and prioritize business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and testable. Analysis and Documentation: o Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. o Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams. o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects and processes. Solution Design: o Work closely with IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. o Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy and IT architecture. o Assist in the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. o Project Management: o Support project planning and execution, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. o Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. o Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Testing and Validation: o Develop and execute test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. o Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end-users. o Ensure that any defects or issues are resolved in a timely manner. Training and Support: o Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes. o Develop user manuals, training materials, and other documentation as needed. o Act as a liaison between business users and IT support teams to resolve any issues. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role. Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is preferred.
