Head of Marketing and Communications

to lead and execute all marketing initiatives, drive brand growth, and manage internal communications. The role involves creating and implementing omnichannel marketing strategies, increasing client engagement, and positioning Neuroservices-Alliance as a leader in CNS research. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver with strong leadership skills and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into effective marketing campaigns. This position also requires expertise in visual content creation, design, and video production.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing:

Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and lead generation, focusing on CNS preclinical research. Oversee all marketing activities, including digital, content, event, and co-marketing campaigns.Digital Marketing:

Manage Google Ads and LinkedIn ads campaigns that significantly impact website traffic and engagement. Execute SEO strategies, analyze performance metrics, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Brand Management:

Enhance Neuroservices-Alliance’s online presence by growing the company’s social media following (LinkedIn, Twitter) and increasing client engagement through regular content posting.Website Management:

Ensure regular updates, create new pages and work on Search Engine Optimization to maintain user experience and increase organic traffic.Lead Generation & Engagement:

Implement inbound marketing strategies and campaigns that drive inbound qualified leads. Leverage CRM tools to track and nurture leads through targeted email marketing campaigns.Content Creation:

Lead the creation of marketing collateral, scientific blog posts, newsletters, one-pagers, and promotional materials. Translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging content for a diverse audience.Visual & Brochure Creation:

Design and create visually compelling materials for both digital and print, ensuring adherence to printing standards. Develop marketing brochures and other materials that effectively communicate the company’s value propositions.Co-marketing Partnerships:

Establish and manage co-marketing activities with strategic partners, including joint publications, cross-referrals, event partnerships, and shared marketing efforts to drive client engagement.Event Management:

Oversee the company’s participation in key industry events (e.g., SfN), including planning, logistics, lead collection, booth management, and media coverage. Manage Neuroservices-Alliance’s editorial calendar around events.Analytics & Reporting:

Track, measure, and report on all marketing campaigns’ performance. Analyze engagement data to inform future strategies and ensure ROI for marketing spend.Video Production:

Film and edit videos for promotional, event, or internal use, ensuring high-quality production standards.Internal Communications:

Create and distribute internal newsletters, maintain internal comms channels (intranet, visual displays at the office) and organize bi-yearly internal company meetings, keeping employees informed on key developments and maintaining alignment across teams in France and the USA.Internal IT:

Manage internal communication tools (SharePoint site), troubleshoot issues, or coordinate with external IT support as needed.Minimum RequirementsEducation:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Experience:

Marketing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (CNS preclinical research experience would be a strong plus).Adobe Creative Cloud:

Experience using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Must be proficient in visual creation, brochure creation, printing standards, video filming, and editing.Leadership Skills:

Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external agencies, and work collaboratively with international stakeholders.Project Management:

Experience overseeing events, dealing with external vendors, and budget management.Analytical Skills:

Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI, and convert data analysis to informed decisions.Communication Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience in translating complex information into engaging marketing content.This position is based out of our office in San Diego, California. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States to apply.
