VP of Product Management

is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning and product development to market launch and ongoing product optimization. This role ensures that all products align with the company’s strategic goals, meet market needs, and deliver value to customers. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including the Innovation & Experience, Partnership & Market Enablement, and Engineering teams, to ensure cohesive product strategies and successful execution. Responsibilities: Product Vision and Strategy

Define Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company’s overall mission and strategic objectives. Long-Term Roadmap: Create and maintain a long-term product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction for all product lines, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs. Strategic Planning: Lead strategic planning initiatives, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments, to guide product development priorities.

Product Portfolio Management

Portfolio Strategy: Manage the product portfolio to balance innovation, growth, and profitability. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively across product lines to maximize return on investment. Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance metrics, including sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Product Development and Launch

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering, Innovation & Customer Experience, and Commercialization teams to ensure seamless product development and launch processes. Product Requirements: Define and prioritize product requirements, features, and specifications. Go-to-Market Readiness: Ensure products are market-ready, including conducting beta testing, gathering customer feedback, and coordinating with marketing and sales teams for launch activities.

Market and Customer Insight Integration

Customer Insights: Utilize customer feedback, market research, and data analytics to inform product development. Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Leadership and Team Management

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the product management team, providing guidance and support. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between executive leadership and product teams.

Budget and Financial Management

Budget Oversight: Manage the product management budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Business Case Approval: Evaluate and approve business cases for new product initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience: Proven Product Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing product teams. Deep Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, technology trends, and competitive landscape. Strategic Mindset: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive product decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Success Factors: Revenue and Market Growth

Measure: Year-over-year revenue growth, market share expansion, and new customer acquisition.

Product Success and Customer Satisfaction

Measure: Product launch success rates, customer satisfaction scores, and product adoption rates.

Team Performance and Development

Measure: Employee satisfaction, team performance metrics, and talent retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Execution

Measure: On-time product launches and successful cross-functional project completion.
