Leidos National Security Sector
uses a wide range of capabilities to support our customers' mission to defend against evolving threats around the world. Our team's focus is ensuring our intelligence customers have the right tools, technologies, and tactics to keep pace with an ever-evolving security landscape and succeed in their pursuit to protect people and critical assets. The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Graphics Designer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Bethesda, MD. An Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required to be considered for this position. The candidate will support Government staff in the following: Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products. Utilize request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests. Coordinate with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products. Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online. Ensure products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances. Conduct technical quality checks. Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles. Provide Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps. Basic Qualifications: BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required. Experience with the following: Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products. Mentoring and training junior staff. Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience. Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products. Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online. Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances. Conducting technical quality checks. Original Posting Date:
