Manager, E-Commerce Merchandising
reporting to the
Director, Global E-Commerce Content. This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida. Position Summary The Manager of eCommerce Merchandising is a visionary and results-oriented individual driving our promotional strategy, website optimization, and personalization efforts for the website and the marketing channels. This role is integral to our mission of delivering an exceptional consumer experience, driving higher conversions, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. This role works at the crossroads of marketing, sales, and revenue management, leveraging data-driven insights to refine our digital marketing efforts and improve the customer journey. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the annual promotional calendar in collaboration with revenue management, sales, and marketing teams. Lead campaign creation by briefing our internal creative team and ensuring alignment with all marketing channels (email, social, paid media, web). Ensure all digital content and promotional materials are consistent with our brand image and voice. Collaborate with the brand team to maintain a cohesive brand narrative across all channels. Improve the performance and engagement of team members by providing guidance, feedback, and support on their work and development. Maintain clear communication and alignment across departments to ensure promotional consistency and execution. Attend commercial planning sessions to develop and support the execution of tactical activities that will help support sales growth. Identify and prioritize in-need products to push through the most effective marketing channels. Utilize analytics tools to generate actionable insights from performance reports. Translate data into strategic recommendations to optimize and personalize merchandising efforts and improve ROI. Act as a liaison to connect targeted offers efforts with the larger promotional strategy. Develop and execute strategies to target key customer segments using our Customer Data Platform (CDP). Implement advanced product recommendation algorithms to enhance the shopping experience. Create personalized content and promotions to engage different guest segments and drive higher conversion rates. Measure and analyze the impact of personalization efforts and continuously refine tactics for improved results. Craft compelling homepage narratives that resonate with our target audience and reflect our brand values. Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure the homepage is visually appealing and engaging. Ensure our website is highly responsive and user-friendly across all devices. Continuously improve site navigation to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to identify areas for navigation enhancements. Drive initiatives to enhance the overall consumer experience on our website. Lead A/B testing initiatives to identify opportunities for optimization and validate hypotheses. Partner with QA to ensure smooth execution of all tests and updates. Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7-10 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising optimization, with a strong track record of driving results. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices. Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and customer segmentation. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
