Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer

Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for a Sr. CNC Machinist/Programmer. This position is intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities to include machining consumable goods for the DMLS process as well as metal 3D printed components.Responsibilities:

Setup and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipmentDevelop machining fixtures for complex aerospace componentsProgram CNC equipment on-line and off-lineQuote machining work for internal and external customersMaintain accurate and legible records of production work and resultsUphold a high degree of work-area cleanliness (daily and weekly) and organizationExplore opportunities to add value to the organizationPerform preventative and proactive maintenance on various shop equipmentUnderstand and identify EH&S hazards, risks and controls of the machine shop operations and activities at the siteEnsure full compliance with EHS and Quality requirementsAllocate tooling to be ordered for jobsRequirements:

4+ years of CNC machining experience in turbo machinery componentsExperience machining castings, forging or 3D printed hardware an asset using 5 axis CNC, and EDM machinesHigh School DiplomaExperience in SolidCAM, MasterCam or NX PowerMill an assetFamiliarity with CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office (2 years programming experience)Strong technical skills in GD&T & blueprintsStrong experience with turning/lathesSome experience working with Heat Resistant Super Alloys (Nickel Alloys)Experience with OKUMA and Makino multi axis CNC equipment preferredExcellent problem solving, organizational, communication and teamwork skillsExposure to working within a facility quality systems and codes (ex. ISO 9001, AS9100)Physical Requirements:
