We are seeking a dayshift Furnace Specialist to perform tasks relating to the processing of "green" molded parts into sintered product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule, load, startup, unload and clean furnaces between each run.
Perform metallurgical inspection after each run to determine product quality and work with engineers or maintenance to fix any product quality or maintenance problems.
Prioritize and schedule which lots will run in each furnace load.
Use and clean Leco carbon analyzers.
Create metallurgical sample mounts and determine grain size.
REQUIREMENTS:
One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required such as hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, etc.
Ability to work in an environment with extreme temperatures and humidity.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, talk, hear, see and work on elevated platforms.
May be required to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the course of the workday.
Ability to work as needed to meet business needs.
Due to ITAR requirements, employees must meet the definition of a "US Person" as defined by ITAR.
Wage:
$18.36
Shift & Schedule:
Dayshift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.
