About the Position:Our client, a dynamic Chicago boutique litigation law firm founded by a former large law firm partner, has an immediate need for a stellar experienced (7+ years) commercial litigator to join as a senior-level associate or partner. Some portable business is required for this excellent opportunity to develop your practice in a strong and supportive high-end boutique firm.Highlights:· Collegial, boutique law firm started by a former large law firm partner· Hands-on complex commercial litigation practice· Firm represents clients nationally in a full range of sophisticated commercial matters.Responsibilities:· Take the lead on all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial.· Draft substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs, take and defend depositions, and appear in court.Required Qualifications:· 7 or more years of complex commercial litigation experience.· Desire for a busy and sophisticated boutique litigation practice.· Clerkship experience a plus.· Excellent academic credentials.· Some portable business is required.
