We are looking for a Manager of Data Analytics to leverage advanced analytical skills in developing tailored reporting and insights, effectively telling stories with data and providing actionable recommendations. This role focuses on Listings, Advertising, Product Analysis, and Marketing Campaigns, supporting Sales, Marketing, and Consumer Insights within Cox Automotive's Retail Consumer Solutions. You will empower sales teams to adopt consultative market strategies and help internal stakeholders uncover valuable insights. This position requires extracting relevant insights from raw data and conveying compelling narratives to executive audiences. Reporting to the Director, you will lead and mentor Data Analysts, creating innovative analytics and reporting solutions that drive positive change in the Marketplace business. You will collaborate with Marketplace, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to enhance sales opportunities and align with strategic roadmaps.
Primary Duties/Key Responsibilities
Serve as a leader and trusted advisor for Cox Automotive, representing the full range of data offerings. Transform analyses into tailored case studies and actionable insights through engaging PowerPoint presentations. Guide Data teams in storytelling and align strategic initiatives with tactical solutions. Partner with executive stakeholders to link metrics and goals to business objectives for effective growth strategies. Develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges, showcasing Cox Automotive's marketplace capabilities. Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing consultation to internal stakeholders and clients. Collaborate with the sales team to connect data to actionable insights and manage follow-ups effectively. Integrate proprietary and secondary data to create strategic frameworks that enhance ROI and program performance. Explore new data sources to develop customized sales presentations and optimization strategies for clients. Design and lead processes for complex analyses, tracking performance metrics and summarizing findings into clear narratives. Transform raw data into visually appealing formats for improved communication and understanding. Engage in requirements gathering and backlog management with stakeholders and the analytics team.
Min Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field. 2+ years of working in the automotive industry. Requires strong knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake, and PixAll for data analysis and dashboard creation. Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization. 5+ years of experience in data analytics consultation, performance analysis, and optimization within the auto industry. Expertise in measurement and optimization strategies, including Marketplace Business, Multi-Touch Attribution, and Product Performance analysis. High proficiency in Excel, including manipulating large datasets and automating data pulls through third-party plugins. Strong organizational capabilities and adaptability to changing priorities and business conditions.

Atlanta GA, The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern or Central time zone.
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
