Sodexo is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week)
Registered Dietitian
for Kalkaska Memorial Health Center located in
Kalkaska, MI.
Kalkaska Memorial is a community non-profit health center that serves the greater Kalkaska County region with a wide variety of care options not often found in a small community, they pride themselves on providing more than is expected.
The Dietitian at this location will work primarily with long term care residents, as well as some acute and sub-acute care patients.
There are two other dietitians on site to collaborate with.
No weekends, no holidays, flexible schedule.
20 hours a week may be worked as two 10-hour shifts or spread across several days a week.

The successful candidate will:provide nutritional care for acute care, long term care and short-term rehab patients and residents;perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; andeducate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses.

Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
