Calling all Med Surg RNs! WV facility is looking for RN's to work 13 week assignments. This area is 2 hours from 3 ski resorts, has lots of outdoor activities, and lots of culture.Job Requirements
Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps.Schedule Information
12 Hour Shifts: 0700-1930; 1900-0730 w/ a 1/2 hour lunch break.Every-other-weekend. Weekend shifts for Nights are Fri/Sat/Sun; Days are Sat/Sun.Holidays will depend on the needs of the unit. If they don't have enough perm staff to cover holidays, travelers would be expected to work holidays."Depending on their contract they could be called off for low census"Unit Specific Information
# of beds: 33-Beds, All private roomsRatios: 1 to 6Common diagnoses/Types of patients: A lot of elective surgeries: hips, knees, shoulders; some fractures from falls; back & neck (Neuro-surgeries), as well as general MedSurgThey can get Cpap, Bipap & High Flow - managed per RTRemote tele if needed, monitored by the 3rd floor. RN's do not have to read strips.Patient Care Techs (PCT's) assist. Vitals, FSBS, ADLs, & can DC Foleys.Additional Details
