The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Project Manager for a large public facility client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:Candidates must possess the following:Manage county Stormwater and Road projects.Work experience in project planning and development.Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.Ability to develop and control project scope.Ability to develop and maintain project budgets.Ability to develop and review project schedules.Skill in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.Ability to set and manage project expectations.Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.Experience in infrastructure projects such as stormwater quality, diversion, and drainage projects.Experience in transportation infrastructure projects such as airports, roadways, bikeways, pedestrian walkways, and bridge projects.Effective oral and written communication skills.Experience in the following is desirable:Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Job Order Contracting (JOC), Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Deferred Maintenance/Refurbishment projects, and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project deliveries.Minimum Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years (PM I Level) or 10 years (PM II) of progressive experience in managing municipal infrastructure projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out.Education background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Licensed professional (or demonstrate the ability to obtain license within 6 months of hiring) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).Preferred Qualification:Knowledge of Envision.Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and familiarity with County practices.Knowledge of Greenbook and CSI.Knowledge of CEQA.Experience with scheduling software using P6 and/or Microsoft Project Online.Salary and Benefits:Salary Range: $139,000-$154,000Medical, Vision, & Dental – 100% covered for the employee*Life and Disability Insurance10.5 days of Vacation pay (Accrued)6 days of Sick pay (Available Immediately)10 days of Holiday pay (9 Holidays, 1 Personal Day)3% Employer Contribution 401k (After 1 year of service)Monthly Stipend for Cell PhoneLaptop for work purposes
