About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dean of Academic Affairs to join our educational institution in Rockford, IL. This full-time, on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package. The Dean will be a pivotal leader, guiding our academic staff, ensuring compliance, and fostering an environment focused on student and employee success.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management
Guide and develop faculty and academic staff through effective training and coaching.
Collaborate with the Campus President to ensure optimal staffing levels.
Maintain knowledge of state and accreditation regulations, implementing institutional policies and procedures.
Compliance and Reporting
Oversee academic operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Generate and manage various campus reports and financial aid metrics.
Work with compliance teams for reporting and audits.
Student and Employee Retention
Coordinate New Student Orientation to integrate new students effectively.
Monitor and implement strategies to enhance student retention and program outcomes.
Ensure adherence to curriculum standards and conduct retention meetings.
Requirements
QualificationsMinimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
At least five years of progressive management or education management experience.
Strong management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and mentor faculty.
Experience with CampusVue is preferred.
