The Team:

The Head of People Rewards will lead the strategy and execution of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for S&P Global, Inc. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping our end-to-end rewards strategy ensuring it's competitive, aligns with our business goals and fosters engagement and high performance. The Global Head of People Rewards will be a member of the Enterprise People Leadership Team, and will collaborate with HR leadership and business partners to ensure our rewards programs align with organizational goals and market trends. The position will oversee a team of ~40 people, including 6 – 8 direct reports. The position will also play a major role in coordinating People Rewards due diligence efforts during M&A activity and will report directly to the Chief Purpose Officer. Impact:

Develop, implement and administer the company’s executive cash incentive plan, stock-based incentive compensation plan, executive supplemental benefits, executive deferred incentive compensation plan and perquisite programs as well as the deferred compensation and deferred stock ownership plans for the company’s non-employee Directors. Lead the compensation strategy for the enterprise, including targeted strategy for ‘top 200’ leaders including ‘white glove’ service to our Executive Leadership Team with respect to questions and new compensation programs or changes. This includes exploring the suite of appropriate executive benefits services by partnering with the Benefits leader. Provide governance to Sales Incentive Programs, including required analytics & reporting to Executive Leadership Team and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. In collaboration with the People Rewards Leadership team, develop company-wide compensation programs, policies, and guidelines (merit budgets, salary ranges, compensation policies). Accountability for monitoring the People Rewards team’s key projects are staffed appropriately and on track. Will manage global strategic projects such as refinement of “Thrive” promotion process, in partnership with Engagement & Development team. Develop and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefits. Lead the strategy and implementation of employee recognition programs to enhance employee engagement and retention. Ensure compliance with global benefits regulations and standards. Play a lead role in supporting the strategic direction of the company through the review and continuous improvement of broad-based compensation, executive compensation programs, benefits, recognition programs, and policy directives. Provide direct consultative subject matter expertise to support strategic objectives and develop solutions to address business needs. Plan, execute, and lead enterprise compensation projects and identify opportunities for synergies and common solutions. Develop change management, communication materials and programs to educate and inform management and participants of the key features and potential value of the plans. Responsibilities:

Lead the development and coordination of materials for presentation to senior management and the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee (CLDC) of the Board of Directors. Oversee the design, implementation and administration of the S&P Global Stock Incentive Plan and Direct Stock Purchase Plan. Coordinate and provide information in support of Proxy filings, including the CD&A and Compensation Tables, requests to third parties for data, and responses from internal departments. Oversee the design, implementation and administration of the S&P Global healthcare, wellbeing, and recognition programs globally. Manage a team of ~40 people, including 6 – 8 direct reports. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. Qualifications:

10+ years developing and managing compensation and benefits programs Experience managing executive compensation programs Experience presenting to senior management, including Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business or other related field Demonstrated ability to establish and achieve strategic goals Strong track record of leading and developing successful teams in a global and multicultural environment Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization Strong judgment, problem-solving, negotiation, influence, and conflict resolution skills Certification in Compensation Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills What’s In It For You?
