If you want to grow personally and professionally, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?About the role:In the Senior Counsel Corporate Ethics role, you will manage legal ethics matters to protect the enterprise's business and ensure that it operates consistent with its Values, policies, and regulatory requirements. As part of a legal team with 200 attorneys and paraprofessionals, your focus will be on corporate ethics, managing the company's ethics program, including its Ethics Helpline, and advising the Ethics Office and Chief Ethics Officer on a range of issues.About the team:The Senior Counsel Corporate Ethics role reports into the company's SVP Deputy General Counsel Global Employment Law and Chief Ethics Officer and manages a team of ethics professionals and investigators.What you will be doing:Acts as advisor on legal issues involving government and regulatory compliance as well as legal rights, obligations, and privileges.Reviews ethics helpline and related reporting channels to ensure appropriate and timely handling of ethics cases involving a range of issues including allegations of fraud, bribery, corruption, gifts and entertainment, and conflicts of interest.Conduct independent investigations in global markets and advises on appropriate outcomes, including corrective action, discipline, and remediation measures.Manages a variety of assigned legal and ethics projects.Provides ethics program guidance to a variety of in-house corporate and commercial leaders and employees.Ensure company's adherence to Speak Up commitments and whistleblower protections, including ensuring compliance with the EU Whistleblower Directive, local legal requirements ensuring non-retaliation and timely review and response of employee concerns.Reviews reporting and case management data as well as key risk and performance indicators. Supports Board reporting and governance issues. Advises on case trends and other key metrics.Oversee ethics-related training programs to ensure an ethical and compliant culture consistent with FIS Values and policies.Coordinates legal matters handled by outside counsel.What you will need:Experience managing a corporate ethics program and hotline, including management of a large volume case load to ensure timely handling and close out of concerns.Investigations experience, including conducting privileged investigations including employee interviews, documentation review, report drafting, close out processes, disciplinary recommendations, and corrective actions.Ability to counsel business and legal colleagues on complex ethical and legal questions relating to various ethical issues such as fraud, bribery, corruption, gifts and entertainment, and conflicts of interest.Professionalism and good judgment. Skills to manage highly complex, confidential, and sensitive matters in a discrete manner. Respect for people. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
