Job Description:Perkins Coie is seeking a qualified, dynamic candidate to take on the Industry Marketing Coordinator role whose responsibilities include coordinating events and sponsorships, overseeing firm blogs and podcasts, updating marketing materials, maintaining databases and mailing lists, as well as other activities. This position will support the marketing and business development objectives for the Digital Media & Entertainment, Gaming and Sports, Real Estate and Aviation sectors. In addition, the Industry Marketing Coordinator will work with the broader Industry Sectors team on specific department-wide initiatives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThese essential functions are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation.Provide support in the development, planning, and execution of industry events, sponsorships, and webinar activities in collaboration with the Industry Marketing team.Coordinate the development and publication of firm podcasts and blogs.Gather information and assist in compiling industry communications, pitches, award submissions and presentations under the direction of the Industry Marketing team.Maintain and update library of collateral materials and marketing information for the industry groups, including assisting in the updating and maintenance of attorney biographies and industry pages on the firm's website in coordination with the Industry Marketing team.Draft internal and external communications as needed in collaboration with the Industry Marketing team.Track clients, marketing opportunities, sponsorships, and industry clients/prospects in the Salesforce software program.Collaborate with the broader marketing team to execute identified initiatives.Handle day-to-day requests and support general ongoing efforts of the Industry Marketing team.SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREDAbility to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent writing and editorial skills.Intellectual curiosity to develop subject matter expertise in assigned industry areas.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to interact collaboratively with all levels of personnel diplomatically.Ability to anticipate potential issues and escalate them as needed.Identify opportunities and take initiative to drive new ideas.Responsive and understands the importance of delivering exceptional client service.Strong abilities in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Experience with various social media platforms, including LinkedIn.SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERREDPrior experience using Pardot, Salesforce, and Foundation and/or other proposal and experience software.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEQualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Those with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal or professional services preferred.
