Marketing Strategic Pursuits Associate Director
Manage and oversee the Strategic Pursuits marketing department.Provide mentorship and guidance for subsidiary or department Points of Contacts (POC's).Advise Marketing Directors and/or Director of Marketing on staffing needs.Work with recruiting to fill department staffing needs.Design, implement and evaluate strategic marketing goals and implementation for marketing staff.Engage in regular performance feedback for marketing members.Oversee interactions with marketing/non-marketing teams to effectively support marketing strategy.Collaborate with other marketing departments on special projects.Facilitate lessons learned and actions to improve process efficiency.Advise leaders on resource constraints and prioritization of efforts.Contribute to developing growth, including collaborating with other division leaders, continuously refining, and improving strategies, and acting as a liaison between our team and the broader organization.Collaborate with executives and principals and other technical team members for relationship building and best practices.Engage with team members throughout the company for collaboration and communication.Participate in internal leadership opportunities.Participate in professional development activities such as continuing education, seminars, classes and/or professional organizations.Work with Marketing Director(s) and/or Director of Marketing to develop strategies for new business pursuits and retention opportunities, applying targeting and sales principles to uncover target client needs, identify win themes, create compelling messages, brainstorm solutions to challenges, track submission ROI and identify benefits for target clients.Additional Department Responsibilities, Strategic PursuitsOversee the prequalification's process including pricing requests and DOT yearly audit submittals.Oversight of the pursuit team to ensure the execution of strategy throughout all phases of the proposal and presentation development efforts.Develop and oversee a proposal training program that fits the ECS brand.Establish a continuing training program for staff based on experience level and needs.Oversee the Marketing New Hire/Onboarding Training Program for the Pursuits Team.Oversee tracking and automation for Marketing Pursuits reporting to achieve business goals.Collaborate with Creative team to share knowledge and create materials that communicate the story of the ECS brand.What We're Looking ForBS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar required.12 years of sales or marketing experience required, experience in marketing or design in the fields of architecture, engineering and/or construction preferred. Related internship employment will count toward experience.Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (inDesign) and demonstrated ability to use standard software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, internet applications, and social media platforms.Strong communication, writing, editing and grammar skills.Experience leading, energizing, and engaging creative processes in teams.Experience collaborating with C-suite leadership to strategize, design, and implement marketing initiatives.Expertise in the general marketing process and research methods.The expertise of analyzing marketing trends and metrics.Insight into emerging marketing trends.Experience managing teams to inspire, engage, and inform members to meet established goals.Who We AreECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
