KCGM Growth Project Team
currently has a fantastic opportunity for a
Senior Project Planner
to join them at their
Subiaco Head Office , working a Monday to Friday work week on an initial
18-month contract. Responsibilities of the role include: Coordinate the planning function on a large-scale project, working within the Owners Project Control Team. Implement Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures. Analyze schedule performance variances and communicate mitigation plans to Project Management. Integrate Contractor schedules to the Master Schedule in Primavera P6. Manage project schedules, including critical path activities and schedule float reviews. Capture and provide accurate historical data. Develop and lead the Baseline Execution Schedule. To succeed in this role? As a certified professional using
Primavera Software , you have extensive experience in a similar role, have spent significant time working remotely on site, and understand the complexities of large-scale mining and construction projects. The following will see you set for success in this role: Significant industry experience (15+ years), with at least 10 years working in planning or equivalent roles. A tertiary qualification in Engineering would be well regarded, although not essential. High proficiency in
Primavera (P6). A sound understanding of just how critical good project schedules & strong project controls are on a project like the
KCGM GP. Excellent communication & people skills, with the ability to engage, influence & build strong, functional relationships across all levels. Target driven & solutions oriented, you think strategically & outside the box to achieve successful outcomes. Innovative in thought, with an agile mindset, you possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills and thrive in a dynamic environment. Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities, you are well organized, have strong time management skills, and can multitask effectively & seamlessly. Possess a strong level of computer literacy across the
MS Office Suite , as well as experience with
Acumen Fuse
or similar
