Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and entrepreneurial Director of Corporate Engagement to join our team. The candidate will play a key role in developing and managing the relationships of ACORE’s corporate supporters, with a focus on revenue generation across membership, and sponsorship of events and programs.This ideal candidate will have first-hand experience in membership, development, events, marketing, fundraising, or sales in the clean energy industry. Non-profit experience is a plus. Salary for this position is between $95,000-$110,000.
What You’ll Do:
Develop strategies for increasing revenues across membership and events, including the design and development of new revenue-generating opportunities.Partner with teams across the organization to expand member engagement and design revenue-generating opportunities for programs, activities and events.Build and manage relationships with key leaders across the clean energy industry.Cogently present ACORE’s value proposition to prospective members and sponsors.Oversee the member journey from pitch to onboarding to renewal, mentoring staff in the execution of the member journey.Develop, with the VP of Events, new event sponsorship opportunities.Supervise and oversee the day-to-day duties of the Corporate Engagement Manager.Lead the development of the prospect pipeline to bring new companies into ACORE’s work.Collaborate across the Corporate Engagement team to ensure member and sponsor data is managed well and accurately in Salesforce, suggesting process improvements as needed.Work with the Events & Sponsorship Manager to ensure high-quality experiences for all event sponsors.Track performance against annual corporate revenue goals ensuring they are aligned with organizational objectives.Travel up to 30-50% of the time to represent ACORE at industry conferences, functions, and member/prospecting visits to drive retention and recruitment.Identify opportunities for collaboration among members through events, Advisory Councils and other activities.Connect with companies regularly to assess satisfaction and needs.
