Job Details
Position Overview: The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, and workforce management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production processes and alignment with company goals.Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Production & Operations:Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.Monitor production schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Quality Assurance:Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Safety & Compliance:Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through Lean manufacturing and other methodologies.Lead initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across the facility.
Budgeting & Financial Management:Prepare and manage the annual budget for the plant, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures as necessary.Analyze financial reports to make informed operational decisions.
Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including supply chain, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Foster strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with a proven track record of managing complex operations.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
