Under the guidance of the Operations Manager this associate will be responsible for accurately picking/pulling and packing products shipped to customers. Also includes general warehouse duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following.
Receiving:
Matching products to packing slips, checking expiration dates, watching for special orders, and dealing with any issues that arise regarding shipments. Properly matching packing slips to purchase orders. Labeling products that are not clearly marked Reviewing and processing back orders Pack up returns/repairs to go back to vendors. Shipping:
Accurately pulling products from shelves Carefully packaging product to be shipped/delivered to our customers via route, LTL, small parcels, and pickups. Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products. Assist with inventory and inventory prep and invoicing. Stock rotation regarding lot control and FIFO on items without lot control Load and unloading of delivery trucks. Marginal Functions
Housekeeping: dusting, sweeping, making cooler boxes, organizing ice packs, trash, and restroom cleanliness. Assist in multiple areas as needed for success. Contribute to building a quality work environment by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player. Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:
Requires: 2 years education beyond high school Requires: 2 years of experience in the wholesaling of drugs
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets. Ability to write business correspondence via email. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Must maintain a high level of accuracy.
Other skills and Abilities:
Ability to operate a computer, fork-lift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and work under pressure. Farm experience and animal health knowledge a plus. Ability to follow directions, prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time; use of hands and fingers to handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; speak and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds up to waist level. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.

Forklift, Box knife, pushcart, hand jack, electric jack, tape gun, and computer.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moderate cold/heat conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low-level.
Protective clothing/equipment required:
Closed toed shoes, gloves when handling sharp or abrasive objects.
