Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endocrinologist to join the Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism division within the Department of Medicine. As an Endocrinologist at Cedars-Sinai, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, treating, and managing thyroid disorders, including but not limited to thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid diseases.
This role will help expand the activities of the Thyroid Cancer Program and the overall Endocrinology division, working with surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, oncologists, and pathologists, and will also participate in programmatic activities which will support the Medical Center's mission of quality patient care, research, education and teaching, and community service. An interest in clinical or translational research is encouraged but not required.

The Thyroid Cancer Program is a highly specialized, multidisciplinary center that focuses on thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and parathyroid disease.
Cedars-Sinai is one of the largest non-profit academic medical centers in the U.S., with 1,022 licensed beds, 2,993 physicians, 2,800 nurses and thousands of other healthcare professionals and staff. Cedars-Sinai Health System includes Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (our flagship hospital), the Academic Enterprise, Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, our ambulatory diagnostic and treatment centers, and our Medical Network. Recently, we have partnered with and added Torrance Memorial with its Medical Center and Medical Network as well as Huntington Hospital with its Medical Center and Medical Network to our system. The system comprises more than 2,300 beds and revenues exceeding $6 billion annually. It includes more than 50 outpatient venues spanning the entire region (e.g., Santa Monica and West Los Angeles, the South Bay, San Fernando Valley, and Pasadena).

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $268,927-$474,484 total cash compensation
Qualifications
Requirements include:
Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
Proficiency in thyroid ultrasound and biopsy of the thyroid
Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Board Certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine, with additional training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Proven expertise in managing a wide range of thyroid disorders
Unrestricted California medical license
Eligibility for Medical Center Medical Staff Membership
A track record of excellence in teaching, patient care and administration
