Major Duties (Job Description)
You will draw upon extensive experience with science or engineering principles (or both) to provide both oversight and direct support of branch projects and tasks.
You will participate in the execution of projects in the Branch as required.
You will lead Branch, Division, Department and/or Center-level efforts to identify and implement solutions that shape strategy, best practices, and champion cross-organizational challenges/conflicts.
You will be responsible for the technical coordination between all Branch projects with alignment to Division strategy and Division management functions.
You will supervise a complex team of scientists and engineers providing support to pursue business and research development strategy and projects.
You will be responsible for Branch administrative duties associated with personnel actions.
You will providing high-level briefings that provide expert insights into current programs and support situational awareness for senior Navy, Marine Corps, or DoD leadership.
Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team and providing oversight and direct support of branch projects and tasks; and contribute to strategic guidance and shape broader research and business development objectives and operations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
