Job DescriptionRequired Education:• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Preferred Certification:• SQL Server DBA certification
Required Skills:• Seeking an experienced DB2 DBA who will support approximately 10 Client's database applications.• 9+ years' experience in relative field
Preferred Skills:• State Agency experience or Client's experience
Overview:The DB2 DBA will be responsible for providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases. They will ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth. Additional knowledge in relational databases is highly recommended, as they will be helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases. They will work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.Client currently have approximately 10 applications including OJI, RCEXPRESS, WOTC, and SETS data warehouse.
