The Corporate Tax Manager will lead a team of Corporate Tax Accountants with the preparing and filing of corporate taxes. You will be working with parts of Informa all offer the country so exposure to a national company is preferred. Job duties include: Manage the federal and state income tax compliance for the US group of companies. Detail review and provide guidance to tax team in the preparation of quarterly estimates, extensions, income tax returns and annual provision calculation. Manage assignment of responsibilities to staff to ensure all required deadlines are met. Detail review of state apportionment and state modification calculations. Facilitate data gathering with accounting teams and third-party advisors. Research, coordinate, and provide relevant information document request responses to Federal and state auditors, as needed. Responsible for corporate tax accounts for financial reporting purposes to ensure activity and balances are reconciled. Participate in special projects and perform technical tax research as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.CPA preferred. At least 5 years of corporate income tax experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience. Mix of Big 4 public accounting and in-house corporate tax experience is preferred. Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy. Strong accounting skills, analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced skills in MS Excel required. SAP and/or Oracle knowledge a plus.
