Job Description
Perform assembly and testing on a wide range of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products in a military and defense-grade manufacturing environment. Utilize blueprints, established process specifications, and written and verbal instructions to complete tasks with supervision.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and schematics without supervision.
Read and follow router processes.
Assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies per established process and quality specifications.
Perform testing on assigned products as required.
Disassemble and rework products returned from customers, as needed.
Read and understand documentation such as prints, bills of material, and bills of operation.
Submit inaccurate paperwork for correction and recommend changes.
Meet and/or exceed established production time and quality standards.
Use all materials and equipment in accordance with the code of safe practices.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Use a computer for various tasks.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of production assembly experience.
Ability to read/write in English.
Experience with small parts assembly (Medical, Aerospace, Electronics).
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Basic knowledge of working with small parts and assemblies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with electrical assembly, soldering, IPC, and J standard.
Familiarity with medical devices and cleanroom environments.
ITAR compliant.
No heavy lifting required (10-20lbs max).

Work Environment
This position is in a small work environment with around 40 production employees. The role involves frequently sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and handling/grasping of materials in manufacturing. It may rarely require kneeling, bending, or squatting. The job requires finger dexterity and the ability to use a keyboard/ten key, as well as good eyesight for using a magnifying glass and handling small parts.
