Job Description

This mid/senior-level position is responsible for facilitating internal and external collaboration to support strategic planning, implementation reporting, and process development at U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (DOE-EERE) Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO).
This role is hybrid and the ideal candidate can be located in Washington, DC or Golden, CO (possible flexibility outside these markets) The salary range is $80K-$110K (based on years of experience) The Strategic Planning and Development Analyst provides the following analysis, facilitation, and technical writing support:
External and internal meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow-up. Meeting output development, including internal or external reports and/or internal decision-making resources. Internal process development facilitation and preparation of resulting resources. Data collection, quality assurance, and visualization. Specific assignments may include, but are not limited to:
Facilitating external stakeholder input sessions that contribute to technology portfolio roadmaps. Facilitating internal data collection sessions that contribute to WPTO long term data analysis capabilities, especially related to strategy implementation. Compiling content from multiple authors to support drafting the WPTO Multi-Year Program Plan, Peer Review Report, and other strategy or evaluation reports. Various ad-hoc facilitation assignments to support developing and implementing internal processes at WPTO. US citizenship A bachelor's degree is required (master's degree preferred) +4 years of relevant work experience Strong writing and presentation development skills required Strong project management, time management, and analytic skills Ability to work both individually and in a team environment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience in using various writing and editing tools Experience working with a federal government agency and/or knowledge of government processes (is preferred)
