Position Summary:
Level one CMM inspectors are considered high level quality inspectors. They perform complex setups and operations of CMM Scanners. These individuals demonstrate an expert ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T per ASME 14.5 standards. This includes the ability to produce and interpret CMM readouts in order to effectively communicate with production employees regarding dimensional product conformance. While CMM inspectors primarily operate CMMs, they will also demonstrate the ability to perform mechanical inspections as required. This position typically requires 2-4 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Operate CMM machines to validate product dimension to customer specification Perform mechanical inspection of product features not accessible to CMM machines Produce and interpret CMM reports in order to provide feedback to production employees Required Skills: Full CMM setup and operation Intermediate proficiency in print reading and digital model manipulation Advanced competencies in mechanical inspection techniques Computer proficiency in required software (MS Suite, CATIA, PC-DMIS, etc.)
Required Experience:
Evidence of successfully performing level one and two inspection tasks in the aerospace industry for at least one year. Typically 2-4 years of experience Level of Education:
GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
