:The candidate will join a growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services.Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsyPractice setting is hospital-based2 Types of Call:
Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year.Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems.Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/UltrasoundTrauma Level/Designation: Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTETeleradiology is not used for MSKPatient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not requiredThere are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek IlluminateSUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
