Senior Contract Support Specialist

We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employees knowledge, critical thinking, and determination to innovate scalable solutions for our clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide intermediate support and assistance in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement in which Cradle to Grave acquisition expertise is required such as:Preparing or reviewing pre- procurement packagesActively participating in developing and managing acquisition plansPreparing/researching support documentationMaking quality recommendations to the Contracting officerHandling and resolving problems, validating data, and otherwise completing actions needed to successfully advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer and or/or closeout Government contracts or task/delivery orders.Monitor status of and support de-obligating undelivered orders (UDOs)..Provide on-site supervision across all task orders for all contracted staff; promptly communicate with PM, COR, and CO to assist with coordinating work related activities and resolving performance issuesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBaccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
and
24 semester hours of business-related college courses.Five (5) years of contract work experience based on the Federal Government acquisition work experience based on the Contract Specialist (GS-1102) Qualification Standard.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.Professional and interpersonal skills are important as this position will interact with public education, program coordination, and advocacy groups.Strong communication skills.Knowledge of and experience working in Federal Acquisition.Self-starter, multi-tasking skills and pays attention to detail.Ability to work well independently and as a team member.Estimated Salary/WageUSD $98,875.29/Yr.
