Pay Rate:
$ 33.60
Length of Contract:
3 - 4 months contract with possibility of extension

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to perform a variety of clerical and accounting duties within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and light clerical accounting tasks. This role also involves scheduling, customer communication, and administrative support for the Field Service Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform light clerical tasks, including typing, matching payments, preparing bank deposits, and routine calculations.
Review time and expense documents for accuracy and compliance.
Schedule and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure efficient use of the Field Service Team.
Maintain and manage the shared calendar for field service activities.
Ensure Field Service Technicians have the proper equipment and qualifications for site visits.
Work with customers, vendors, and contractors to provide quotes and obtain purchase orders.
Order necessary tools, equipment, and manage administrative tasks related to fleet vehicle maintenance.
Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for vendor payments.
Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to resolve field service-related questions or issues.
Provide telephone support for the Field Service Department and act independently to resolve customer inquiries.
Collect and process time sheets and overtime records for Field Service Technicians weekly.
Collaborate with the Field Service Manager to prepare engineers with site instructions.
Manage vendor and supplier processes, including invoice and payment reconciliation.
Reconcile job data before billing and issue final invoices to customers.
Assist in obtaining travel documentation for field staff as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements within the department.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of basic accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in clerical and administrative duties, including creating POs and managing vendor relationships.
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with fleet management and scheduling systems is a plus.
Pay Details:
$33.60 per hour
