**This position is fully grant-funded through 2027 with the opportunity for renewal on the basis that future grant funding is secured.
*POSITION SUMMARY *
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The activities are related to the deliverables of grants administered and executed in both the Business/IT and Engineering Technologies departments. Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities, covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act, in accordance with its requirements. The person in this position will work with project teams to navigate day-to-day issues while continually addressing project sustainability. This is a fully grant funded position for four years with the potential for renewal using college or new grant funding.
*ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES *
Develop a working knowledge of the funding agencies and award compliance. Ensure that all the grant policies and Marion Technical College policies are followed.
Maintain excellent working relations with the public, faculty, and internal and external stakeholders of the grant as a representative of the College. Advise the College and stakeholders on various matters.
Plan, organize, and execute events for participants, which include but are not limited to admissions events, mobile lab tours/demos, workshops, camps, summer enrichment programs, career events, and faculty professional development.
Serve as the program coordinator and launch initiatives to recruit women and other underrepresented populations including first-generation students and veterans into the grant funded programs.
Collect accurate data and maintain a database of participants as outlined by the reporting requirements of the funding agencies with compliance to FERPA regulations.
Serve as one of the points of contact for program participants. Provide information on academic programs of study and next steps for enrollment, registration, and fee payment.
Contribute to the development and execution of an overarching marketing plan for outreach and engagement. Develop outreach plans that assists in driving initiatives to increase enrollment in programs that support the related industries and career pathways. Coordinate outreach to target populations including: prospective high school students, adult learners, incumbent workers, government agencies, and K-12 administrators and faculty.
Work with the College's Marketing department on the development of promotional materials.
Provide assistance and information about campus services and resources which include, but are not limited to, childcare solutions and other wrap-around services for students offered on campus and/or in partnership with communi
