I'm partnered with the CFO at an industry leading, environmental services company. This client works with large, well-known manufacturers to increase their global footprint by reducing hazardous materials. With a global presence, they are experiencing massive growth within their organization, and are now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to help manage the accounting functions for one of their locations.
Reporting into the Controller, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit, and other duties as assigned. As the Senior Accountant, you will be a key driver improving efficiency and profitability of the business as well!
Job Description
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Assist in the monthly general ledger close processPrepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure adherence to US GAAP and Global Accounting PoliciesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and lead their implementationCollaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training as necessaryReconcile financial data across different platforms to ensure accuracyResearch and interpret data to address accounting and financial inquiriesSupport various audit processesParticipate in ad hoc projects and perform additional accounting duties as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of experience in accounting.Advanced skills in ExcelExcellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.What's on Offer
