Essential Function:

The Health Screener greets visitors, patients, hospital staff upon arrival at the assigned location according to the instructions provided and procedures explained. Screenings may include verbal questionnaires regarding symptoms, temperature checks and providing various personal protective equipment. Follows the designated temperature protocol for the facility, collaborates with others to resolve any issues timely and professionally.

Performs basic physical exams such as taking temperature, pulse rate, oxygen levels, etc. to determine patient's health status prior to directing them to the attending physician.Welcomes patients and visitors to the hospital. Provides information and directions to locations throughout the hospital for patients and guestsProvides patient information in compliance with the HIPAA requirements and organizational privacy policies.Assists in improving patient satisfaction.Anticipates family needs and resolves issues before they become major source of concern.Receives guest suggestions, complaints and escalates through proper channels.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Preferred candidates will have a Medical Assistant background.WORK SHIFT:
