About the position

Third Way Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Account Management to support our existing provider customers (medical practices). In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of forging strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in medical practices, navigating complex multi-stakeholder relationships that are crucial for our success. As a leader within a fast-paced startup environment, you will not only spearhead our account retention and growth efforts but also build the organizational infrastructure for a scalable, best-in-class Account Management function, and manage another Account Manager. Responsibilities

Organizational development:

Build a scalable, repeatable, measurable, effective Account Management function.Team Management:

Lead a team, starting with 1 other account manager.Relationship Building:

Develop strong, professional relationships with account stakeholders, balancing rapport with assertiveness to avoid over-accommodation.Service Optimization:

Review service delivery data to identify areas for improvement and propose adjustments that enhance both client satisfaction and profitability.Upselling & Growth:

Actively identify and introduce new services that align with client needs, facilitating account expansion.Startup Mindset:

Embrace the dynamic nature of a startup, bringing forward ideas for continuous improvement and process innovation.Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership agreementsEvents:

As needed, represent Third Way Health at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation in the market.Marketing Support:

Generate data-driven marketing content and case studies that illustrate our value and impact for current customers and prospects.Desired qualifications

Healthcare experience, preferably with medical practicesUnderstanding of account management processes, metrics, team structures, and functional responsibilitiesExperience in managing multiple client relationships in a recurring-revenue business with >$500k ARRSome business process outsourcing experience desired and/or working with offshore teams or service providersMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience in consulting, business development, partnerships, sales, customer success, or account managementExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholdersStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plansComfort with data analysis to inform decision-making and identify growth or profitability opportunitiesWillingness to travel as needed to meet with partners, attend events, and drive business opportunitiesBachelor's degreeBenefits & Perks
