Job Responsibilities

The purpose of this job is to directly assist the Director of Nursing Operations, faculty, and students in record-keeping, scheduling, communication, and resource management.

- Screen, respond, and distribute emails within the School of Nursing. Direct correspondence to PN program or ADN program as appropriate.

- Assist Director of Nursing Operations, Clinical Coordinator, Program Directors, and students with My Clinical Exchange.

- Assist with annual Inventory control; scanning and categorizing of tangible nursing laboratory equipment. Maintain spreadsheet for lab inventory on all campuses with nursing programs. Coordinate ordering of supplies with Director of Nursing Operations.

- Liaison with the College book store (a/k/a Chaser's Bark Shop) for items related to Akademos, to include textbooks, patches and nursing kits for ADN and PN. Liaison with the College book store (a/k/a Chaser's Bark Shop) regarding ATI payments for students per semester. This will include sending a student roster and following up on posted receipts.

- Assist the Director of Nursing Operations and students with registration each semester.

- Coordinate American Heart Association BLS courses four times per year for faculty and students. Assist with coordination of pinning ceremonies biannually (location, caps, pins, lamps, food, decoration).

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications

Associate Degree in Business, Office Technologies, or substantiated equivalent work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, TEAMS, PowerPoint, and Excel. Effective written and oral communication, with correct grammar. Positive attitude and experience working with deadlines, in a fast-paced, high complexity, service-based work environment.
