Description:The Social Work Supervisor will oversee a team within the Enhanced Family Foster Care program, addressing a wide range of child welfare situations. This role includes guiding case managers, ensuring compliance with discharge planning policies, and supporting services for children and families, including those with specialized needs.
Responsibilities:Supervise a unit providing services focused on permanency and service needs for youth and their families.Offer supervision, training, and guidance to case managers, ensuring effective discharge planning.Act as a liaison with external agencies, reviewing reports and notes before submission.Provide leadership in implementing youth transition policies and practices.Lead the development of safe and effective discharge plans for young adults leaving foster care.Participate in family team conferences, staff training, and planning sessions.Perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills:Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a minimum of three years of post-MSW experience.In-depth knowledge of foster care and adoption systems.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Excellent organizational and team management skills.Flexibility to work under pressure and interact effectively with birth parents, foster parents, and children.
Employment Type:Full-Time
Compensation:Salary: $70-75k and 1 k sign on bonus
