Senior Project Controls Manager

Overview
Work collaboratively with internal and external clients to deliver intelligent solutions to ensure quality program delivery.
Investigate current processes and understanding needs/requirements then creating customized streamlined solutions at any/all levels of complexity. Manage stakeholder's expectations as well as any other Project Controls disciplines including scheduling and cost controls.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement project controls processes to achieve program goals and objectives; including but not limited to, budget management, schedule management, change management, document controls, quality management and field processes Serve as a member of the Program Leadership team Support the Program Management team with technical resources and guidance to achieve program milestones Support the Project Management teams for each individual project the technical resources to complete project management tasks associated with cost and schedule management Produce metrics for monitoring performance as needed by the owner, Program team and Construction team Manage program schedules and project schedules, with the support of a Project Scheduler, identifying appropriate project phasing, milestones, and constraints for various projects Monitor and actively participate on project and program issues related to cost and schedule Monitor and perform Time and Risk analysis on Program projects Collaborate with the project teams to identify constraints and mitigation strategies to achieve contract requirements Perform needed QA on program schedules to conform with program and construction project goals With the support of a Project Scheduler, perform status updates on Program and Project Master Schedules Lead Program reporting needs for the monthly report and owner meeting presentations Manage Program invoicing and subconsultant contracts Proactive and competent in relaying information and instructing users on how best to interact with new and updated processes or software for which they are unfamiliar Manage projects to ensure all Project Controls disciplines involved in the project are efficient and executed with an exceptional level of accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness Direct, lead, and be accountable for all Project Controls needs on a project/program Create customized solutions for a varied range of issues using all tools available and independently researching additional solutions when needed Monitor the use of the final product and confirm relevancy to the current needs and pivot the approach if utilization is lower than expected Confer with the KCEM Project Controls team on lessons learned and new ways to improve our methods and methodologies Other duties as assigned. Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline highly desired, but not required with comparable experience 10 our more years in the Construction industry is required Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of cost and schedule management Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, and full Microsoft Suite are required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Pivot are preferred Ability to work independently and proactively with others is required Excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills; including the ability to influence, negotiate and explain complex processes to clients and staff is required License and Certifications
Valid California driver's license free from suspensions or restrictions is required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently inspects the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, while wearing personal protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions due to work activities occurring both inside and outside.
Physical Requirements
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position also may also be sitting for long periods of time.
Travel Requirement
This position is in person and performed on site at the project location in Dublin, CA.
