Internship Opportunities with The Charleston RiverDogs
The Charleston RiverDogs are excited to offer a comprehensive range of internships for the 2025 season, providing valuable experience and insight into the operations of a minor league baseball team. Our paid internship program is designed to provide real-world experience and comprehensive training in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, running from approximately March through September, 2025. These positions are designed to immerse interns in the full scope of running a professional sports organization. College credit is preferred, and exceptional interns may be considered for future full-time roles.
About The RiverDogs: Renowned nationally for innovative promotions, unique food offerings, and superior customer service, The Charleston RiverDogs are leaders in professional sports entertainment. Our mission is to deliver a memorable and engaging experience to our diverse fanbase at each of our more than 60 baseball home games as well at various entertainment events at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
Ballpark Operations Internship.
This internship focuses on learning the logistical and operational aspects of a professional baseball stadium.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Interest for hands-on work.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with Operations staff on strategic goals.
• Maintaining ballpark cleanliness and delegating tasks to staff and vendors.
• Overseeing event set-up and parking operations.
• Assisting in staff recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Managing logistical concerns and field operations as needed.
