Internship Opportunities with The Charleston RiverDogs

The Charleston RiverDogs are excited to offer a comprehensive range of internships for the 2025 season, providing valuable experience and insight into the operations of a minor league baseball team. Our paid internship program is designed to provide real-world experience and comprehensive training in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, running from approximately March through September, 2025. These positions are designed to immerse interns in the full scope of running a professional sports organization. College credit is preferred, and exceptional interns may be considered for future full-time roles.

About The RiverDogs: Renowned nationally for innovative promotions, unique food offerings, and superior customer service, The Charleston RiverDogs are leaders in professional sports entertainment. Our mission is to deliver a memorable and engaging experience to our diverse fanbase at each of our more than 60 baseball home games as well at various entertainment events at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in historic Charleston, South Carolina.

Hospitality & Events Internship.
This internship provides experience in managing hospitality services and coordinating special events.
Qualifications:
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage staff and coordinate large-scale events.
• Experience with event planning is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Supporting group sales and catering logistics.
• Managing luxury spaces and suites and overseeing event operations.
• Setting up hospitality areas and assisting with non-baseball events.
• Coordinating with sales team for event catering and guest services.
