NVIDIA is looking for a Sr. Global CEM Sourcing and Business Management in the CEM Business and Cost Management team for the products across multiple business units. This position facilities and influences the global sourcing strategies of CEM business and drive CEM (EMS) partners to deliver value in supply chain operations, improve supplier performance, and negotiate a competitive and win-win solutions while decreasing overhead resource requirements in a rapidly growing business.The Global CEM Sourcing and Business Manager will be a transformative manager who can develop and deliver enhanced global supply chain capability to support products growth and build management rapport with CEM management team.What you’ll be doing:Recognized CEM business manager with management contacts in EMS industry and other key vendors.Demonstrate strong analytical skills to guide decisions, are a highly collaborative and has technical experience operating within a global supply chain and extensive experience operating in Asia as well as North America.Develop initiatives to successfully transform supply chain operations and lead EMS engagements including value to other operations and engineering teams.Embraces clear and direct communication and feedback, in the spirit of ongoing CEM business management.Performance-focused and can work and lead effectively across organizational boundaries with successfully balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization.Manage the performance of CEM partners with cross functional organization using well balanced scorecard within Supply Chain Operations to achieve the company priorities and goals.Identify strategic business leverage and leads CEM cost negotiations, quote management, and benchmarking activities that align product costs to targets, manage transformation spend, negotiate NRE, and reduce liabilities using visibility tools for Finance, Engineering, and Business Units.Drive innovation across functions to make reliable and agile supply chains that support aggressive SOL (Speed of Light) project schedules.Concentrated effort during NPI to achieve industry-leading time-to-market targets by establishing supplier selection criteria, and alternative suppliers, qualifying new suppliers, running the RFQ process, and driving supplier selection in partnership with Engineering.What we need to see:10+ years supply chain operations in particular sourcing and CEM business management in high-tech industry experience or related fieldExtensive CEM business management - experience building and engaging global ODM, JDM and CEM partners.BA / BS or equivalent experience (Masters preferred) – technical degree is a plus.Have experience in PCBA and System Integration is a plus.Exceptional negotiation skills especially in the manufacturing outsourced environmentGreat communications and influencing skills working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functions.High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detailExperience in product cost modeling and its impact to financialStart-up mindset, process oriented, and hands-on attributesAspiration to manage a small group in the future.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
